Garage Tool Storage: Wall Mounts & Desk Stands for Fanttik, Bosch & Silhouette

5 min read

Cordless tools have one design flaw nobody talks about: they don't stand up. An electric air duster, a handheld vacuum, a spare drill battery — none of them has a flat enough bottom or a hole to hang from, so they end up lying on the workbench, rolling into drawers, or living in the box they shipped in. The tool you reach for most is somehow always the one buried under something else.

We make mounts and stands that fix this for a specific set of tools: Fanttik's air dusters, electric scissors, and handheld vacuums, Bosch BAT414 batteries, and the Silhouette CAMEO 5. Each one is shaped to its device — not a universal hook, but a holder the tool docks into.

Here's the full lineup and how to pick between the two formats.

Wall mount or desk stand?

Three of these tools come in both formats at the same price, so it's a genuine decision.

Pick the wall mount when the tool has a home. A wall mount gives the tool a permanent spot, gets it off the bench entirely, and — on every Fanttik mount — lets you charge it while it hangs. Each one ships with drywall anchors and screws, so the cost of entry is three screw holes.

Pick the desk stand when it doesn't. No holes, no hardware, no commitment. Set it on a workbench, shelf, or desk and drop the tool in. If you rent, rearrange your garage seasonally, or the tool moves between rooms, the stand is the right call. The trade-off is it still occupies flat surface — which is the thing you were trying to get back.

If you're on the fence: tools you grab daily earn wall space near where you use them. Tools that migrate get stands.

Fanttik B10 Pro Max and C8 Nano: charge while it hangs

The B10 Pro Max wall mount holds Fanttik's electric air duster with its replacement accessories stored alongside, and the detail that matters is the cutout slot at the bottom: it takes any USB-C cable, so the duster charges while it's mounted. The wall spot becomes the charging spot, and the tool comes off the wall topped up.

The C8 Nano wall mount does the same for the electric scissors — USB-C charging through the mount, plus slots for the blade replacement and key (sold separately) so the small parts stay with the tool instead of in a drawer three feet away.

Both come as desk stands at the same $29.99 — the B10 desk stand and the C8 desk stand — with the same accessory storage and nothing to assemble. The C8 stand suits a craft room where wall space is spoken for; the B10 stand keeps the duster next to the PC it's meant to clean.

Fanttik Slim V8 and V10: the hose works while it's mounted

The vacuum mounts solve a different problem. The Slim V8 wall mount and Slim V10 wall mount are designed so the flexible hose attachment works with the vacuum still docked — for quick jobs near the mount, you don't take the vacuum down at all. Integrated slots hold the cleaning brush and push-in brush when the hose is in use, cutouts at the bottom keep debris from collecting in the mount, and a lower cutout passes the charging cable through.

One install note: the bottom mounting hole is cut for screwdriver access at a slight angle — approach the lower screw from below rather than straight-on. It's intentional; it keeps the face of the mount clean.

The V8 also comes as a desk stand at the same $32.99. The V10 is wall mount only for now.

Bosch BAT414: batteries off the bench

Loose batteries are the worst offenders — they're heavy, they slide, and you can never find the charged one. The BAT414 mounts store them vertically on the wall: a solo mount for one battery, a dual mount for two, each $21.99.

If you're running a full set, the kit bundles two solo mounts and one dual — four batteries on the wall — for $43.99, about $22 less than buying the three pieces separately, with all ten screws and anchors in the box.

The included anchors are the self-drilling kind rated to 75 lb each: no pre-drilling, a #2 Phillips screwdriver is the only tool you need, and they click audibly when they're set. They're made for 1/2" or 5/8" drywall, or you can skip them and screw straight into a stud. Don't overtighten — once the anchor clicks, you're done.

The odd one out: the CAMEO 5 tool holder

The Silhouette CAMEO 5 tool holder doesn't go on a wall or a desk — it goes on the machine. The CAMEO 5 and 5 Alpha ship with no built-in tool storage, so this is a six-compartment caddy that attaches permanently to the left side of the machine with pre-applied 3M VHB tape. Peel the backing, position it, press for 10–15 seconds, and it's on.

It's sized at 155 × 54 × 76 mm and positioned so the machine's lid opens and closes freely. The compartments take the usual suspects: scissors, pens, brayer, scoring stylus, weeder, scraper, spatula, tweezers — whatever you keep losing mid-project.

Same material as our roof mounts

Everything here is printed in UV-resistant ASA — the same material we use for Starlink mounts that live on roofs and boat rails year-round. For a garage or craft room that's overkill in the best way: a stand that shrugs off direct sun through a window won't yellow or go brittle under fluorescent shop lights. If you're curious why ASA specifically, we wrote up how UV affects 3D-printed mounts.

All 18 of our colors are available on every product on this page, so a red vacuum mount next to red toolboxes is a real option. Everything is designed and printed in-house just outside Atlanta, Georgia — made in the USA, printed in 1–3 business days, then 3–5 business days domestic shipping. We ship worldwide.

Get the bench back

Start with the tool that annoys you most. If it charges by USB-C and you use it in one place, take the wall mount; if it wanders, take the stand.
