Roof orientation: This mount holds the dish flat against the roof, so your roof decides where the dish points. Starlink dishes aim at the part of the sky with the most satellites, which in the US means toward the north, tilted about 20 degrees, and the Starlink app asks you to rotate the dish to within a few degrees of that target. Flat roofs on houses, RVs, and vans work well: rotate the mount to match the app's target before you screw it down. A north-facing roof slope is close to ideal. A roof that slopes toward the south tilts the dish away from the satellites and puts the ridge in its view, so expect obstruction dropouts and a misaligned alert. Before ordering, set the dish where the mount will go and run the Starlink app's obstruction check.

Installation
Installation
- Choose a location with a clear sky view
- Position the numbered corner pieces (1-4) as labeled when facing the back of the dish:
- Part 1 = Top-Left
- Part 2 = Top-Right
- Part 3 = Bottom-Left
- Part 4 = Bottom-Right
- Insert the Starlink V5 and secure each corner with two #12 screws
- Apply sealant under and around each mounting point for waterproofing
Note: Do not over-tighten screws. Professional installation recommended.

No — the two products both occupy the dish's corners, so it's one or the other. Choose the roof mount for a permanent bolted installation, or the hail guard for impact protection.

Yes. Each of the four corners bolts down with two stainless steel screws. Apply a flexible sealant such as Pro Flex RV under and around each mounting point, don't over-tighten, and consider professional installation.
